In order to publish your app for the first time, you have to go through the following steps:
- Get a Google account
- Change your Google account language to English
- Sign up for Google Play Developer Console
- Invite AppSpotr to manage your Google Developer account
- Add your Google account to AppSpotr
- Go through the publishing process and choose "Automatic"

1. Get a Google account
Use an existing Google account
If you want to use an already existing Google account, proceed to the step "Sign up for Google Play Developer Console".
Create a Google account
If you do not already have a Google account, you should create one now.
Step 1: Visit https://accounts.google.com/signup?hl=en
Step 2: Enter your personal information and the desired name of your new Google account and click "Next"
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the "Privacy and Terms" window and click "I agree"
Step 5: If you see this page, you have successfully created your Google account!
2. Change your Google Account language to English
In order to change your Google account language to English, do the following:
Step 1: Visit https://myaccount.google.com/preferences
Step 2: Click "Language" (or the equivalent term in your current language)
Step 3: Click the edit icon next to your current language
Step 4: Choose "English"
Step 5: Choose "United States"
Step 6: Now your language should have been changed!
3. Sign up for Google Play Developer Console
Follow the steps at https://play.google.com/apps/publish. This will turn your Google account into a "Google developer account", which will allow it to publish apps. Make sure to choose the correct account. Also, be aware that this will cost $25.
Step 1: Visit https://play.google.com/apps/publish/signup
Step 2: Make sure that your desired Google account is displayed here:
If the wrong account is displayed, click the "Sign in with a different account" link.
Step 3: Agree to the Google Play Developer distribution agreement and click "Continue to payment"
Step 4: Enter your credit card details
Step 5: Enter your address info and click "Pay"
Step 6: Follow the remaining steps on the website
4. Invite AppSpotr to manage your Google Developer account
You need to add AppSpotr as a developer on your Google Developer account.
Step 1: Click the settings cogwheel, and then "User accounts & rights"
Step 2: Click "Invite new user"
Step 3: Fill in the form as follows:
Access expiry date: Never
Role: Release manager
Then, click "Send invitation"
5. Add your Google account to AppSpotr
Step 1: Visit https://cloud.appspotr.com
Step 2: Hover over your email adress and click "Store accounts"
Step 3: Click "Add account"
Step 4: Fill in your Google account email and click Save
Step 5: Your account should now have been added!
After this, we will verify that you invited us correctly. When this is done, you can choose this account when you publish an app on AppSpotr for the first time. Then, the app will be automatically published on the associated Google account.
